Lieutenant Harris entered the room halfway through the playback.
“What are we watching?”
Nobody answered immediately.
Lewis paused the video.
“Sir, this is the Reynolds incident.”
Harris looked at Daniel.
Then at Maya.
“Did you request a review?”
Maya nodded.
“Yes.”
Harris watched the rest.
When the footage ended, he said nothing for several seconds.
Then he looked at Daniel.
“Your report says she refused.”
Daniel shifted.
“She was argumentative.”
“That isn't what I asked.”
Daniel remained silent.
Harris looked at the screen again.
“Did you include the camera footage?”
“I didn't think it was necessary.”
Harris's expression became serious.
“If it relates to the incident, it is necessary.”
Maya stood quietly.
She had expected resistance.

Lieutenant Harris turned to her.

Maya nodded.
