The grand ballroom fell into a suffocating, dead silence. The mocking smiles of the wealthy guests vanished, replaced by pale faces and fearful, averted eyes. Victoria stood frozen, cradling her stinging cheek, her dominant facade entirely shattered.

Alexander did not yell. He did not lose his composure or raise his hand a second time. The fiery rage in his eyes had hardened into a chilling, absolute coldness. He wrapped a gentle, comforting arm around his weeping mother’s shoulders, pulling her close. Then, he stepped forward, closing the distance between himself and Victoria.

When he spoke, his voice was low, devoid of emotion, yet it carried the devastating weight of a judge's final verdict.

"My mother has knelt enough times in her life to raise me," Alexander stated, his words slicing through the heavy silence of the room. "She will not kneel before you. Leave my house. You don't belong here."

The verdict was final. There was no room for argument, no space for negotiation. Victoria, the woman who had demanded submission just moments ago, was left standing utterly alone in her stained red dress, surrounded by a crowd that now looked at her with pity and disgust, permanently banished from the gilded kingdom she thought she ruled.
