Richard didn't answer.

Noah's voice became cold.

"You knew about Mom's plan."

Richard sighed.

"I knew some of it."

"Did you sign the agreement with Victor?"

Silence.

Noah stepped back.

"You did."

"I was desperate."

"For money?"

Richard looked ashamed.

"I made mistakes."

"You abandoned us."

"I know."

"You came back because Mom was dying."
