Mara smiled.
“Good.”
“Why?”
“Because he never wanted repayment.”
Caleb nodded.
“He wanted us to do the same thing for someone else.”
Mara looked around the table.
At the riders.
At Emily.
At her grandchildren.
At the house Thomas had built.
