She hadn't thrown the punch out of anger, but out of necessity—to end the conflict instantly and

"The lesson is over," Elena said quietly, her voice carrying clearly in the stunned silence.
Jenkins rushed into the ring to check on Marcus, who was still unable to stand. Elena turned,
slipped cleanly through the ropes, and walked back to the heavy bag she had been using.
