Garrett looked at the broken clipboard on the floor. He slowly bent down, picked up a pen that had rolled away, and found the torn waiver form. Using his knee as a desk, he calmly signed his name.
He stood up and handed the paper to one of Bryceβs terrified assistants. "Is this a full medical and legal waiver?" Garrett asked. His voice wasn't loud, but it carried to every corner of the room. "Y-yes," the assistant stammered. "Good," Garrett said.
He turned his gaze back to Bryce. Bryce was bouncing on his toes, throwing shadow punches, grinning for his followers. He had no idea. He was a boy playing with matches, oblivious to the fact that he was standing in a room full of gasoline.
