The gateway turned green.

"Remote communication has been restored."
Marcus closed his eyes.

He sat beside Maya.
"No more red light."
She smiled.

On Monday morning, Marcus's attorney sent a formal letter to the HOA.
It demanded preservation of:
Sandra's emails.
Violation records.
Board authorizations.
Property-entry policies.

The answer came quickly.

"I'm the president."

Howard looked at the police report on his desk.
