I simply let the system watch.
That decision would eventually destroy everything Vivian had built.
“The Board Has Authority”
The violations continued.
Vivian claimed my lighting violated community standards.
Then she complained about my cameras.
Then she said my pool furniture was “visually disruptive.”
Every time, my attorney answered.
Every time, Vivian lost.
Then she introduced a different idea.
A private wellness and entertainment club.
It would have a heated pool.
An event kitchen.
A rooftop lounge.
Corporate rental facilities.
She presented the proposal as an exciting opportunity for Silver Crest residents.
Then I saw the proposed location.
My property.
Vivian described my backyard as an “underused community parcel.”
My deed described it as my home.
I reminded her that a judge had rejected the HOA's claim to an old drainage easement eleven years earlier.
She insisted there was new evidence.
I asked what evidence.
She never answered.
Instead, the pressure increased.
Fines.
Notices.
Inspections.
Threats.
And eventually, strangers appeared around my pool again.
Vivian wasn't trying to enforce the HOA rules anymore.
