Emma did not flinch. She did not step back a single inch. As the behemoth rushed her, she pivoted flawlessly on her left heel. Her right leg snapped up in a blistering high kick, cutting through the heavy air with a vicious, sharp whoosh.

The kick didn't connect. It didn't need to.

Emma’s foot stopped in mid-air, frozen with absolute, terrifying control just millimeters from the Sensei's cheek. The sheer air pressure of the near-miss ruffled his silver hair. He froze instantly, his momentum killed dead by the lethal threat hovering directly beside his eye. Emma stood perfectly balanced on one leg, a statue of absolute power, casting a long, dark shadow over the man before her.

The Sensei's legs betrayed him. The imposing, arrogant master collapsed onto one knee, instinctively bowing before the lethal weapon hovering near his face to avoid impact. His broad chest heaved, cold sweat beading on his forehead, his eyes wide with a primal fear he hadn't felt in decades. His bravado was entirely shattered, crushed beneath the heel of a girl in a baggy sweatshirt.

From the sidelines, a whispered, trembling voice from one of the students pierced the silence.
