One Last Conversation
Sandra remained across the street for another three months.

Marcus took a breath.
"My work depends on it. My home security depends on it. Her monitoring system used it."
He looked directly at Sandra.
"Maybe somebody else's internet controls something completely different."
Sandra lowered her eyes.
"You decided the appearance mattered more than knowing."
