percent this morning just on the news of Isabella's arrest,

but their institutional investors are holding on, waiting for

Lorenzo's PR spin to work."

"It won't work," Marcus said coldly. "Release the

footage."

The head of Public Relations blinked. "Sir, the police

requested we keep the security footage confidential

pending the investigation."

"I didn't ask for your legal opinion, Tom," Marcus

snapped. "I told you to release it. Leak it anonymously to

every major news outlet, every social media platform, and

every investigative journalist in the country. Make sure it

plays on loop on every screen in Times Square if you have

to. I want the world to see Lorenzo Rossi's precious

daughter attempting to murder a pregnant woman."

Within forty-five minutes, the internet exploded. The

high-definition video of Isabella's malicious, calculated

shove bypassed the polished PR narratives entirely. There

was no spinning the footage. It was a clear, unprovoked

assault. Public outrage was immediate and ferocious.

"Now," Marcus said, turning back to his financial

team. "While the media is distracted, we strike the

foundation. Sarah, instruct our subsidiary banks to call in

the loans on Lorenzo's shipping fleet. All of them. Today."

"They'll default," Sarah warned. "They don't have the

liquidity to pay off two billion dollars in twenty-four

hours."

"That is exactly the point," Marcus replied, his voice

devoid of sympathy. "When they default, we seize the ports.

The moment word gets out that Rossi Enterprises has lost

its primary Mediterranean ports, their stock will enter a

freefall. As it drops, I want our offshore accounts to heavily

short the stock. We will profit from their destruction."

By noon, the financial markets were in absolute

chaos. Rossi Enterprises' stock chart looked like a cliff face,

plunging twenty, then thirty, then forty percent as panic

selling set in. Institutional investors dumped millions of

shares to salvage whatever capital they could. Lorenzo

Rossi, a man who had built an empire through decades of

shrewd negotiation and ruthless tactics, found his life's

work evaporating in a matter of hours.

At 2:00 PM, Marcus's private line rang. The caller ID

displayed Lorenzo Rossi's personal number.

Marcus let it ring three times before answering.

"Speak."

"You are destroying me, Marcus," Lorenzo's voice

came through the speaker, sounding aged, broken, and

desperate. "You are breaking the gentleman's agreement of

our industry. You are ruining thousands of jobs,

devastating my family's legacy. Over a mistake my

daughter made. She is sick, Marcus. She needs help."

"She isn't sick, Lorenzo. She is vicious," Marcus

replied, his tone as hard as diamond. "And your legacy is

built on a foundation of sand if it can be washed away in a

single afternoon by me."

"I'll give you whatever you want," Lorenzo pleaded,

his pride utterly shattered. "I will sign over the Pacific fleet.

I will step down as CEO. Just stop the bleeding. Please."

"You misunderstand the situation, Lorenzo," Marcus

said softly, the lethal calm in his voice more terrifying than

any shouting. "This isn't a negotiation. I am not doing this

to acquire your assets. I am doing this to erase you. By

tomorrow morning, you will be bankrupt. Your daughter

will face twenty years in a maximum-security prison for

attempted murder, without your billions to buy her a light

sentence. You are finished."

Marcus terminated the call, slamming the phone

down on the desk. He looked around the boardroom, at the

silent, awestruck faces of his executives. They had known

Marcus was ruthless, but they had never seen him operate

with such pure, destructive intent.

"Finish it," Marcus ordered, turning away from the

table. "I'm going back to the hospital."

Chapter 6: Awakening

The transition from the bloodthirsty battlefield of

corporate warfare to the quiet, sterile sanctuary of Khloe's

hospital room was jarring. As Marcus stepped through the

heavy doors, he consciously shed the persona of the
